Background:

JEE Exams are a gateway to the prestigious IITs in India. JEE Mains helps students to get admissions in institutes like NIIT, IIIT. JEE Mains exam is also background to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam. JEE Advanced help students to get admissions in IITs in India. In JEE -Main, your speed, basic concepts are checked while in JEE-Advanced, your concepts are challenged at an advanced level.. Many private colleges admit students through the Mains score too. JEE exams are conducted by National Testing Agency

JEE has Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 is for B.Tech Admission while Paper-2 is for B.Arch admission.

Mode of Exam:

The mode of exam is on-line and students have to book slots based on the exam dates announced.

Cut-off for Qualification:

As per the experts, the cut off for JEE Advanced for this year under Open Category is expected to be around 86.19. The cut-off may change based on the candidates appearing for the Mains exam in April, 2020. Students have to remember that as the more number of students attempt this exam, the cut-off percentile might go up.

Ranks:

The ranks shall be declared based on the below criteria:
  • Candidate who scores highest marks shall get the first rank
  • No two candidates shall have same rank
  • If two candidates get the same marks, the rank shall be decided based on the marks in the subjects in below order
    • Maths
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
  • If the candidates get the same marks in all subjects, then the candidate with the highest age gets the best rank among them.
